TEA TREE LODGE- FISHING LODGE AT ARTHURS LAKE

On the shores of Arthurs Lake Tasmania - uninterrupted views from your Lodge across Arthurs Lake to the Western Tiers. Watch the sun rise over the lake from your location, reflecting off the water or in winter, off the frozen shores. You may see deer, wallaby and native birds while you sit by the fire and enjoy the morning. More likely, you'll see rising trout over the weed beds and around the drowned timber along the shore. Located on the lake-side of Wilburville you have direct access to the lake shore only a minute's stroll from your door. There's room for up to 8 vehicles or 4 vehicles with boat and trailer and ample turning at the front of the Lodge.

The Lodge can be separated into two living spaces - great for couples who like their own space, or families where the kids can have their own living area, bedroom and bathroom. Each area has it's own separate heating, even the dining space, with access direct to the front and rear decks. For those longer summer evenings there's a pizza pit at the back of the Lodge and a BBQ available to cook your meals.

It's unique position allows you to walk to the lake and around the shores of Tea Tree Bay, with a boat ramp for small dinghies right below you, or larger boats at the dam, accessible a few hundred metres along the road.

Tom and Lizzie can arrange your provisions for you before arriving at the Lodge and there's a hotel and convenience shop, with the basics - bread and milk, bar and counter meals, bottle shop, takeaway food and fishing gear approximately 30 minutes from the Lodge back on the Lake Highway at Miena.

The lodge

Located 2 casts from the shores of Tea-Tree Bay at Arthurs Lake, Tea Tree Lodge has uninterrupted views right across the lake to the Western Tiers.  The 3 bedroom, 2 living spaced Lodge features a large deck facing down to the lake shore, 2 bathrooms, 2 wood-heaters and a pellet fire. A shared kitchen and dining space means you can share your stories with other fishermen or hire out the entire lodge all to yourself. Accommodating up to 8 people it’s a great location for families, corporates, fishing trips or just relaxing in the comfort of the Lodge.

The Lodge is near Launceston, only an hour and 15 minutes or two hours from Hobart the Lodge is fully self-contained – all you need to bring is your food and your fishing rods.

Accommodation

The Lodge has everything to make it home during your stay – 4 burner gas cook top, oven, full size fridge and freezer, warm living areas and large kitchen and dining space. The 3 bedrooms feature bunk or single bedding with all linen supplied. There’s a pantry stocked with the basics and BBQ front and back to cook outdoors. All crockery and cutlery is included plus plenty or reading material – as long as you don’t mind fishing stories. 

The rooms

3 Bedrooms, one with twin beds, two with single and bunks accommodates up to 8 guests in total. Bring your own sleeping bag and save yourself the linen cost or use our all new linen and comfortable mattresses. Spacious, functional, warm and with extra blankets mean you can look at the snow, not feel the chill and have a comfortable fishing holiday.

Cook & kitchen

Featuring a 4 burner gas cook-top, electric oven and grill, two slow cookers, two fridges, one for the food and one for the fish and beer, plus a spacious freezer means there's fully self contained facilities to feed everyone. Ample cupboard and bench space, a table big enough for a gothic banquet plus a an outdoor BBQ and pizza oven will keep the hungry happy.

Two wood-heaters, two bathrooms, a pellet fire, a spacious kitchen & dining area, two living areas, huge covered front and back decks, pizza pit, full laundry, separate access outdoor toilet, full HD colour TV in each living space and kitchen, parking for multiple vehicles and boats.
